How does my toddler "loose" his pants so often??


What's up guys? I'm Rose, I'm here to type at you today.

I love to offer advice and share my creativity and since my life pretty much revolves around my kids, that's where most of my inspiration comes from.



I'm here to blog about my life with my boys, organization, stories from over the years, crafts, cleaning, cooking, and my bullet journal.




The basics: I'm a mom of 2 young boys. Born and raised in Iowa. I'm a chocoholic who's allergic to cocoa. I can't cook to save my life but love to try. Occasionally, I actually get it right. I developed Alopecia (an autoimmune disorder that causes hair loss) in high school but after a few years, went into "remission". I worked as lead teacher in the infant room at a local daycare for 3 years before becoming a work-from-home mom with my then toddler and baby. I love storms, snacks, and snuggles.

Organizing kids puzzles

Hey guys. I'm here with a break in sanity.  My 3-year-old LOVES puzzles. I mean crazy obsessed with puzzles. He got a dozen for Christmas and I thought his eyes were going to pop out of his head (thank the heavens for Dollar Tree... a bunch of them were from there and saved my wallet.) But they ALL came in these flimsy, crummy boxes. You know the kind. The paper ones that rip when you simply open the box. And it sure doesn't help that they're tapped shut. A quarter of the boxes ripped apart just from opening them the first time. So most of his puzzles were in coffin-like boxes with no top, they were sent off to die essentially. This had been driving me crazy and I just couldn't take it anymore. So I cut the boxes up!  I cut out a picture of the finished puzzle and taped each to the lid of one of his baby brother's formula containers, cleaned out the inside, then dumped each puzzles pieces into the container. Red Light, Green Light - Going on an adventure around town

Watching Bubble Guppies on Nick Jr the other morning I got a chip on my shoulder to use it as a learning experience with my oldest. Molly and Gil were going around town in the beginning of the episode on their way to school seeing their neighborhood. When they got to school, Mr. Grouper started teaching them about their neighborhood. Once the episode was over, I asked Big Boy if he wanted to go for a ride around his neighborhood like the Guppies. He was floored so we set out! We saw places he'd already seen tons of times before but this time was more interesting and fun for him because he said, "I'm a Bu Guppie Mommy!" We drove by a mailbox to drop some mail in. While we were there, we saw the post office. Then we saw the library, a police car, two big churches (a "yellow" one made of limestone and a "red" one made of bricks), the house that he was made in..., the little kids school, the big kids school, a bridge that went over a road, a bridge tha

Strawberry and Banana Green Smoothie - Super Easy! - Cook with Me

Here's a super easy recipe for a tasty and healthy fruit and veggie smoothie! Ingredients: Spinach puree 1 Banana Strawberry 2 cup Milk 1 cup Directions: Put all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. It's so easy and tastes just like a normal strawberry and banana smoothie! I specifically used spinach baby food for the easiest spinach consistency to blend up.
